SIRIUS Technical Syst. Soft. Ind. And Foreign Trade Inc. completed the installation for the most up-to-date models of electronic assembly and mounting machines at its modern facilities established over a total area of 650 m2 in Aegean Free Zone in Izmir, and has been continuing its production activities since June 2005. The company’s main fields of activity include the functions of performing all kinds of electronic and electromechanical productions for the local and foreign customers within the scope of subsidiary industry, carrying out various test, calibration and setup procedures for the systems produced, performing the supply, purchase and import-export procedures for the materials constituting the systems produced based on the demand of the customer, designing the production stages, project monitoring, providing design support for the owner of the product, etc.
Majority of the principal investments within the body of SIRIUS Inc. has been completed concerning the production. However, planning is carried out for the new investments for the future, in accordance with the changing demands of the domestic and the foreign markets and the requests received within the framework of our close contacts with our current or potential customers.
Our company, which adopts the approach of the customer oriented service as its corporate culture, established and put into practice the necessary quality documentation system, and was certified with ISO 9001 Rev. 2000 Quality System following the inspection by the company BVQI in December 2005.
Now working 7 days a week with 4 Electrical-Electronic Engineers with Master’s Degree, 2 Mechanical Engineers with Master’s Degree, 1 Metallurgical Engineer with Master’s Degree, 20 experienced technicians and 6 administrative personnel, including the machinery operators, our company has achieved the capacity increase by using the third shift on the smd assembly line and the second shift on the wave soldering line. Our machinery, being the products of the advanced technology, were designed to be able to operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and were selected among the products of the specialized manufacturers in this field worldwide. Our daily capacity enables to carry out 720,000 material assemblies by means of working 24 hours in a total of three shifts.
This speed may easily be exceeded for the products being currently manufactured, including the material packages with complex surface mounting such as ground micro BGA and QFP 256 and the multi-pin materials such as Scart connector, RCA and Data connectors. We also have the capability of assembling a wide range of other surface mounted material types that may be needed when the necessary feeders are added.
We currently produce 4k satellite receiver mainboards on daily basis for HDT (Hyundai Digital Technology) and also 4K LCD TV mainboard modules on daily basis for Vestel Electronics.
Other than these customers, we have also reached agreement with a company resident in Ankara engaged in the production and sales of the electricity, water and gas meters for the production of the electronic meter boards under subsidiary industry. We began the production of these meter boards beginning from February 2007.
Moreover, our negotiations with the company Arcelik-Beko are in progress concerning the production of the dishwasher boards designed by said customer, including the tests for the boards.
In addition, our contracts continue with the companies EADS, Linos and Proxitronic of worldwide importance carrying out activities in the defense industry in Germany.
